Warehouse & Distribution Company:
A warehouse and distribution company asked us to develop a grant for them to improve the speed and reduce the cost of warehousing and distribution of 300 stores in the New England distribution center, with a focus on Lean and Six Sigma improvements. They received a grant to train:

| 20 Greenbelts |
| 10 Black belts |
The picking of inventory was slow and had huge amounts of variation in time from person to person, we reduced the variation, increased the pick rates and picking efficiency, standardized the picking process and created a highly stable and predictable process.
The improvements were significant:
- 20% improvement in productivity
- 33% improvement in accuracy and efficiency of picking
- Improved safety and efficiency by implementing 5S techniques throughout tools
